Portrait in Pastel
November 21-22, 2009 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Â- The immediate subtlety that can be achieved through soft and hard pastel is particularly suited for the portrait study. Learn the techniques of hatching, blending, layering as well as color mixing as applied to rendering convincing portraits. Discussion and demonstration of various surfaces, pastels and mixed media techniques will expand the knowledge of the material. Drawing experience recommended. Register by: November 13.
