Description

The Bristol Hippodrome first opened its doors to the public in December 1912, and stands today as a beautiful example of the stunning architecture which came from the Victorian era.In its earlier days, the Bristol Hippodrome served audiences primarily as a music hall. However, times have changed and now, thanks largely to the fact that the venue boasts one of the largest stages of any UK theatre, the Bristol Hippodrome has become an important fixture on the schedules of many big-name touring musicals.
