The Town Common Wetland system is recognised for its diverse range of habitats which support a large number of bird species 26 of which are listed under 2 international bird agreements. Volunteers work on the rehabilitation of high priority sites. Activities include weed control, tree planting, seed collection, vegetation surveys, endemic grass planting trials and fencing. CVA has partnered with QPWS and Revive our Wetlands for over 7 years and the progress of the site has been very successful. Join us and see for yourself this beautiful wetland with abundant birdlife. Project Focus:, Birds and Wildlife, Climate Change, Heritage, Reserves, Bush setting Project Tasks: fencing, heritage, planting, seed collection, survey work, track construction, weed removal
