Note:
The depth of Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County stems from our committees, the groups of people who team up to fund raise, build homes, publicize, partner with families, and so much more. We are continually recruiting people who are interested in working as construction volunteers by building homes. We have several committees or teams of volunteers that support the organization: Family Partners, Family Selection, Publicity, Newsletter, Raise the Roof, Site Selection, Youth United, Church Relations, and Grant Writing. Habitat homes are the main visible signs of our organization - the tip of the iceberg. The committees are what lies below the water. They work behind the scenes to set the stage by preparing families, volunteers, and the community for the building of the houses. NEW VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION - Held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at our office, in the basement of First Christian Church, 9th and Veneta in downtown Bremerton. Volunteers must call Barb Gabriel, Volunteer Coordinator, or email her at volunteercoor@kitsaphabitat.org to let her know they plan to attend. Please see our website for additional information.
