Diana Arnold teaches basic metalsmithing techniques during this six-week course. Fee is $172, plus materials. Also at Bear Canyon: Peggy Houchin teaches Precious Metal Clay certification for levels I and II, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 3-4 ($350 plus bench fee); Malen Pierson shows participants how to sculpt with recycled metal in Metal Sculpture, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 25 ($125); and Bryan Petersen shares Beginning Enameling, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 31-Nov. 1 ($135, plus materials).
