Description
This scenic section of Green River is highlighted by a paddle under a large natural rock arch. This is a 5 mile paddle that should take about 2.5 to 3 hours. This is a class I paddle, suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers. Be sure to dress for warmth and bring a change of clothes. The river access point is the Honaker Ferry boat ramp behind the store at the bridge. The store will be a right turn (on HWY 1749) before you cross the bridge over Green River. The ramp is located just off Hwy 1749, behind the store. The local area is called Glenmore. Directions From Bowling Green: Hwy 185 north - 11.8 miles Turn right on Hwy 1749, then bear left to the boat ramp. Click here for directions. *There are no rentals available at this facility.
