Description
If you are looking for inner peace, spiritual connection, or relaxation. we belive the Bowie Meditation Meetup is for you. Our current group leader (Lee) has practiced Insight meditation for ten years. Lee has been guiding us in with readings, seated meditation, walking meditation, and conversation. On the fourth Thursday of the month, we usually have tea and conversation after meditation. Two of our former leaders have returned so they may rotate leading the group. The group meets at the Goodloe UU Congregation building at 1540 Pointer Ridge Place on the Second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:15. You can bring you own mats and pillows, use whatever mats and pillows are available, or use a church chair. Weather Policy: If Prince George's County schools do not open or close early because of weather, we will not have a meetup on that day.
