In celebration of our 2011-2012 Journal of Knowledge and the Arts, the Umbrellagraph Project is hosting an event showcasing eight prominent professionals from the Boulder/Denver community that have been featured by our journal.

The event will consist of lectures prepared by the featured professionals, with time for question and answer sessions, as well as free time in which students can engage with the professionals one-on-one. This event will provide a wonderful networking experience, as well as a chance to gain first-hand knowledge about the professional world. Our featured professionals include:

Dr. Rebecca Safran - Assistant Professor in the Evolutionary Biology Department at CU Boulder
Bruce Borowsky - One of the founders of Boulder Digital Arts
J.D. White - Financial planner from Edward Jones Financial
Judge John L. Kane - An Article III federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado
Jesse Bullington - Published author
Dr. John Gibert - Associate Professor in Classics at CU Boulder
Claire Patton - Physical theater artist
Carol Conzelman - CU Boulder's Global Studies Residential Academic Program (GRAP) Associate Director as well as an anthropology instructor
