Event details: Perpetual Journey
Description
Science inspires and informs art in St. John’s newest exhibit, Perpetual Journey. Some travelers are focused on their destination, while others, like Susan Eriksson and Peter Steele, are fascinated by the art of the journey itself. This evocative exhibit takes its name from photographer Peter Steele’s image, Perpetual Journey. The journey theme also applies to Susan Eriksson’s art where the nexus of relationship, time, and place play out dramatically in mixed media reflecting Earth’s perpetual journey through space and time. Both Peter and Susan are geologists whose vocations inform the subject and substance of their art.
