Every year, the Hotel Boulderado ensures it throws one of the biggest, most elegant New Year’s Eve celebrations in Boulder. This tradition stems from the hotel’s own history. On New Year’s Eve of 1909, the night prior to the Boulderado opening for business, local residents were welcomed into the building to discover the beauty and grandeur of the hotel their money had built. In its early years, the Hotel Boulderado hosted dances for the local schools in the lobby. This tradition continues every New Years Eve when the armchairs and couch sets are cleared away to make room for a live band. The Gala Ball Dinner-Dance Package is $299 per couple, and includes a sumptuous five-course dinner, dancing in the lobby to Dressed in Black, taxes, dinner gratuity, and valet parking. Overnight packages are also available for those who wish to make a night of it; starting at $434, these packages vary by room type and are subject to availability.
