Course Duration and Overview This 6-week (classroom-based) course will provide a strong foundation in practicing The Work of Byron KatieĀ® - a simple, yet powerful process of identifying and questioning your stressful beliefs to discover inner peace in any situation. We will meet for 2 hours each week, and you'll be given a one-hour homework assignment after each class, to practice skills by phone with a partner from class. Who Is This Course For? This course is for people who are new to The Work, as well as anyone who would like a refresher on the basics of this life-transforming process. Class Format The class format is mix of brief lecture / discussion, and hands-on activities to facilitate taking you deeper into The Work for your own personal use. During each class, we will discuss a particular topic from the book, "Loving What Is" (by Byron Katie), and practice facilitating inquiry through interactive exercises. You will also be given a one-hour assignment each week to practice your skills with someone from class by phone. You will also be asked to read a chapter or two of "Loving What Is" before each class meeting, so we can have a good discussion about it. Required Text: Book: "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie (approximately $10 on Amazon.com) Class Size: Class is limited to 10 students, in order to maintain an intimate classroom setting, resulting in more individual student attention. Email support with the instructor is also available to students throughout the course, to answer questions or get clarity on a lesson. About the Instructor: This course will be taught by Bryan Clark, Life Coach and Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie. Bryan holds a MA in Applied Experimental Human Factors Psychology, and is a graduate of Byron Katie's 9-day School for The Work. He has also volunteered as staff at Katie's 9-day school, and is a candidate in Byron Katie's 800-hour Facilitator Certification Program.
