Description
David Fischman, will present a clinic aimed at the intermediate map and compass user. Participants should have a basic understanding of map symbols, identifying land features, and using the compass.
The class format will be solving problems focusing on developing the skills in map reading, drawing an azimuth on the map, triangulating your position, and measuring distance. We'll start off working together and build enough confidence for individual problem solving.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own compass.
