Description
we are at boulder ballet studio every thursday night from 730pm until 9pm cost is $15 for dropins and $55 for 5 wk punchcard. pumehana has a Ma in Dance Ethnology from Univ of Hi. she is the only teacher in Colorado who studied hula in Hawaii from the masters themselves. class began earlier in Jan but is ongoing for those who've had some kinds of dance before, not necessarily hula. class is open to teens and adults. we learn ancient and modern hula, chanting, some language, culture and even political history.
