Hike4Cancer Night: Live Music and Colorado Trail Presentation with Pete Kartsounes Boulder: Tue 3/09/10, 6:00 PM Join local musician and hiker, Pete Kartsounes, for a night of live music, stories from the trail and information on local non-profit, Hike4Cancer. Pete co-founded the non-profit which raises money and awareness for organizations that create support groups, camps and activities centered around kids with critical illness, their families, and other individuals who support them throughout their journey. Pete finished hiking the Colorado Trail in September as a fundraiser for Hike4Cancer's current beneficiary, There With Care. He had sponsors and played concerts in towns along the way donating the proceeds to his cause. Join Pete to see videos and photos of his experience on the trail and what gear he packed. He will share information on Hike4Cancer and the Colorado Trail Foundation will be present with information on the trail. Voluntary donations will be accepted at the door. Plus, enjoy live music as Pete plays some songs from the trail.
