Description
Members of Studio Art Quilt Associates exhibit cutting edge fiber art at The Dairy Center for The Arts in Boulder. "Sublime Surfaces," opens with a reception 5 to 7 p.m. November 13th. Art quilts share aesthetic concerns common to the range of visual arts, and retain, through material or techniques, a relationship to the folk art quilt from which they descend. Also featured are "Sacred Shrines," unique ceramic mosaics by Susan Wechsler. Artists' talks are scheduled for November 18, 5 to 6 p.m.
