Event details: Call for Dance Artists - Annual Showcase
Description
Local dance-advocacy network Dance Bridge teams up with the Boulder Public Library to host the 2009 "Dance is for Every Body!" Showcase at the Canyon Theater in the Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder.
Looking for dancers, studios, schools and companies in all genres of dance to participate in this wonderful, annual outreach program for the community. This free showcase runs for two days with continuous presentations which may include performance of finished dances or works-in-progress, mini-classes with audience participation, structured improvisations, lecture-demonstrations, short original dance films and more. Dancers choose 5 - 15 minute time slots.
Applications available July 1st at www.artsresource.org/dance. Deadline for submission is September 4, 2009.
2009 showcase dates: Saturday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. Canyon Theater, Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder.
