    I think the House of Blues in Boston is a big conglomerate mess.Miss the Avalon and Axis club they were friendly and always a good time.The new HOB was supposed to be this 21 million dollar renovation.I think it was all put in the huge neon sign out front.The interior still looks basically the same.Over staffed with security that makes you feel like your entering a prison.Not all it's cracked up to be....sad

The House of Blues Boston is one of a rare breed of venues which allows fans to see some of the biggest names in music up close and personal in an intimate, yet stellar setting. As a result, the venue has become one of Bean Town's biggest hot spots for live music performances. One of 13 venues which make up the House of Blues franchise, the House of Blues Boston is currently owned by Live Nation - giants in the field of entertainment venues. The House of Blues brand was the brainchild of Isaac Tigrett.

Located next to the famous Fenway Park, the House of Blues Boston has been entertaining the masses since 2009. Like the other House of Blues venues, the House of Blues Boston has stuck to its roots by displaying the “Crazy Quilt” and keeping a box of Delta Mississippi mud underneath its stage - a gesture to ensure that each performer will have the "spirit of the South" beneath their feet.

Though still a relative newcomer on the live venue circuit, this hasn't stopped the the House of Blues Boston from attracting many of music's biggest stars. Lily Allen, Paramore, Regina Spektor, Passion Pit, and Owl City are just a few of those featured on the House of Blues Boston schedule in the past.
