Together Presents Sweet Shop With Treasure Fingers at The Goodlife

Remix artist and dancefloor legend Treasure Fingers (Fool’s Gold) joins us this month for a very special Sweet Shop. As the Together Festival nears it’s end, CSC wants to help ease your feelings of grief and loss with some bad-ass house music. Treasure Fingers is a hustler, working with everyone from Laidback Luke and Romanthony to more traditional bands like Snowden and Miike Snow. Calling his beats “house” would be ignoring a huge part of what he does and this is what makes him the PERFECT addition to the Sweet Shop family. His genre-jumping antics are the perfect compliment to our ethos of “More fun – Less Serious”.

Helping to start the night off, we thought we’d bring you guys a little treat. Frank Heiss has been producing electronic music since the mid 90s, from hardware synths and sequencers to his current realizations, an electronic drum kit. Frank creates live electronic beat and will be joining us early on for a special performance. In the last year he has performed at Boston weeklies such as Music Ecology, The Drop and Beat Research, and been featured in Glide Magazine. Don’t miss this opportunity to feel what it sounds like when he hits the skins.

Holding it down is resident DJ Mr. McNeill who continues to impress with each new event. This is the first time in a while he’s been able to do a 2-hour solo-set from the booth, so get there early for Frank, stay on the floor for Matt and lose yourself to Treasure Fingers.

If upstairs is more your speed, then we’re bringing back our buddies M-Deck and J-Deck, the Deck Bros. to hold it down all night. These guys obliterate the upstairs every time they play, mixing between old school hip hop, party jams and even a little banging electronic tracks for good measure.
