FERMENTING THE OMER

w/ Getzel Davis, our Rabbinic Intern from Hebrew College

& Aidan Acker, brewer extraordinaire

LET'S BREW!

Join us as we learn the ancient art of home-brewing with Aiden, as Getzel teaches us about the Omer!

It's the season for barley, an imporant ingredient for brewing beer...

Traditionally, we count the days from Passover to Shavuot, known as the Counting of the Omer -- in the days of the Temple, on the Second day of Passover, an omer (measurement) of barley was cut down and brought to the Temple as an offering

Barley plays an important role in Jewish history!

This is a FREE event, but please RSVP: office@bostonsynagogue.org

This is part of the Young Adult Learning Series sponsored by Ganei Beantown!
