Nobody from the group will be leading this, you'll be meeting up with Les. Quincy, MA THE GEOLOGY OF SQUAW ROCK with LES TYRALA, Registered Geologist SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 2 P.M. (RAINDATE: 11/15 2 P.M.) Squaw Rock Park Dorchester Street, Quincy, MA (only address I could find-Google or Mapquest Squaw Rock Park, Quincy) This free tour will look at the ancient bedrock exposed as well as more recent glacial features. Bring binoculars if you have them since we may also see some harbor seals or interesting birds. Meet at the parking lot by the Nickerson Post (take E. Squantum Street to Dorchester Avenue. Turn left into parking lot before guard house.) Wear sturdy footwear for walking the rocky beach. For more information and rain date rescheduling, call 617/472-0799.
