Peep and the Big Wide World has been transformed into a new permanent exhibit called Peep's World at the Boston Children's Museum. Thanks to support from the National Science Foundation, Peep's World offers children and their parents the opportunity to learn more about science in a fun, hands-on environment.
Peep's World is comprised of four distinct environments, each organized around the exploration of different natural phenomena: Catfish Creek, Raven's Ravine, Deep Dark Woods, and Peep's Field. The exhibit features hands-on components, as well as text and graphics that work together to make science fun and accessible for children ages 3 to 5.
Peep's World marks the third collaboration between Boston Children's Museum and WGBH. Between 1997 and 2006, the Museum had a ZOOMzone exhibit, and in 1998, the Museum hosted the Arthur & Friends exhibit.
