Learn hand and machine techiques, choose and cut patterns, and apply basic sewing terms, methods, and tools. You may use our machines or bring your own.

The MFA is delighted to present programming with the Eliot School. In the heart of Jamaica Plain, the Eliot School is a short ride from the MFA. Parking is plentiful and the bus stops one block away. All tools are provided, except as noted. Materials lists are distributed during first class. No previous experience required. (All shop projects must be kept to a manageable size: no beds, sofas, or drapes.)
