Description:
Annika Lückebergfeld, born in 1981 in Germany, has studied mandolin at Berklee and the College of Music Cologne. She has won numerous national and international music competitions, including the Young Musician of the Year award in Berlin for 2000. She regularly conducts orchestras, including the premiere of Bulgarian composer Rossen Balkanski's Rapsodia Vissani in 2007 in Greece. Well-known composers, including Christopher Grafschmidt, Christopher Kirsch, Uwe Kuenstler, and Dimitri Nicolau, have dedicated or written works for her. [details]
