The Knitting Factory (previously The Big Easy) is an awesome place! Don't let the name fool you... The Knitting Factory is one of the main scene places in Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY. "The Big Easy" has been under ownership of TKF for a long time, but just recently applied their name to the ones in Boise, ID and Spokane, WA. I'm hoping that under this name they'll draw more attention from current kick ass bands of metal, punk, and alt rock genres. Bands like AVENGED SEVENFOLD, LAMB OF GOD, SERJ TANKIAN (System Of A Down), BLEEDING THROUGH, THE USED, PARAMORE, and etc. Bands like that would be sure to pack the house!!! Oh yeah, this place has a nice stage and pretty good acoustics. Also, they're set up to have shows for "all ages" - that's a big plus, too!

It is a nice place. I think it is suffering finacial times though from what I hear. It isn't the biggest place but it gets really loud.
