The YMCA (Phone: 344-5501) is closed for major holidays including New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. (Start cards and route information may be picked up ahead of time.) M-F, 6am-9:30pm;Sa-7am-5:30pm;Su, Noon-4:30.Rated 1+, suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The trail goes through parks along the Boise River Greenbelt to the Old Penitentiary. Pets are not allowed in the MK Nature Center and one park, but there is a route around this area.
