8am to 5pm. Park hours may vary. Weather conditions determine the Farragut experience, starting at the Park Visitors Center. The walk is a wilderness scenic trail through meadows, old growth woods, cedar groves,along one of America's beautiful Lakes rated 3 for trail and hills. X Country ski is rated 2+ with 1k (orange), 3.5k (white), 5.5k (green), 7.5k (red), 10k (brown), and a snowshoe event as additional option. No matter what the weather enjoy Farragut. X Ski, Walk, Snowshoe are recorded in walking event and distance books. Water and restrooms are available at Park Visitors Center and Beaver Bay Swimming area (when open). Advisable to carry water. Walking sticks would be helpful. Not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
