Sara Evans
Sara Evans was born in Boonville, Missouri, on February 5th, 1971. Her debut album, "Three Chords & the Truth" was released in July of 1997. It earned critical acclaim but was considered too "retro" for mainstream country radio. She followed it with "No Place That Far" in October of 1998. Featuring guest appearances by Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, and Martina McBride, "No Place That Far" gave Sara her first legitimate hit with the title track.
