The Library! at Collister continues its series of innovative and practical programs for adults this fall, called Navigating the New Economy. The series is offered at the library on the second Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m.
The programs are designed to help adults through this period of
continuing economic change. Topics include the benefits of volunteerism, dressing successfully for interviews, do-it-yourself holiday presents, and interviewing skills. All programs are free and open to the public, and no registration is required.
Tuesday, November 10. DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Presents. Save money for the holidays by getting creative. Learn how to find and make presents on a budget and learn about all the great resources the library has on DIY projects.
Tuesday, December 8. Interview Skills Workshop. Find out how to
successfully interview for today's workforce. A professional
interviewer will give advice on improving interviewing skills.
