Three Tall Women. Nov. 5-21 (Thursdays-Saturdays) @ VaC. Preview: Nov. 5, opening night: Nov. 6. Doors 7pm, show 8 pm. $15 (rush tickets available). Tickets on sale 10/26/09 @ http://www.visualartscollective.com In Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning autobiographical work, we meet three tall women navigating through the elusiveness of personality and its self-deceptions. Through a stingingly funny and often haunting, unsettling conversation in act one, we witness the collision of a young lawyer, a middle-aged caregiver and a rich, bitter elderly matron who have little patience for one another, and who talk in circles to make-or avoid-any kind of connection. In act two, their true identities are revealed, and the illusion of separateness takes a surprising, and illuminating, turn. Directed by Tim Saunders. An Alley Mainstage production.
