Conceived and hosted by Marshall Turkin and staged by Jan McArt, Mostly Music is a unique concert series that better acquaints audiences with not only the music but the lives and artistic development of the Western World's great composers.

Regarded as one of the greatest composers of the Romantic Era, Robert Schumann (1810-1856) focused on composing only after a hand injury ended his earlier career ambitions as a pianist. He was to be blessed with genius and a loving and brilliant wife, but damned to spend his final days in a mental institution.
