Boca Raton's Job Hunting & Career Meetup!

Hi Everyone! I wanted to announce our first of many monthly in person MeetUps - held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 6pm - 8pm. You will receive a FREE drink of your choice for the small cover of $ 5 per person. The goal of the in person MeetUp is to support each other in our job search, learn strategies and tips on how to find a job and network with eachother. As the group grows, I encourage all of us to "pay it forward" and if any of us hear of job opportunities that can benefit any of our members, tell us! I will also present a short presentation covering different aspects of the job hunting process (the do's and dont's of resumes, cover letters, job boards, interview questions, follow up, where are the jobs, what do employers really want, do degrees matter, references, how to land an interview, why are so many that have been laid off still not finding work, and so on). Every month will be a different topic. If you want something specific covered, feel free to drop me an e-mail. The location is at a great little coffeeshop - Fresh Aroma - off of Powerline and Hillsboro. There small door cover of $5 per person will get you a FREE drink of your choice. Food is at your own expense, but they have salads, snacks, sandwiches and a great variety for very reasonable prices. The event will start at 6pm for meet and greets, grabbing a drink, coffee, soda. At around 6:45 I will start my short presentation and we'll end off with open Q & A and more networking. Thanks again and I look forward to meeting next month!
