Great Country Farm's Annual Cider Festival

September may mean back to school for many, but at Great Country it means back to the farm for freshly pressed cider and apples! We will celebrate the start of the cider pressing season with tastings of this season's best sparkling cider blends including peach, cherry, and raspberry. Take home some freshly pressed cider from Rinkers, the best in the Shenandoah Valley, to add to your next celebration! To celebrate everything apple, the farm will have cider pressing demonstrations with the families antique 1865 cider press. Visitors are encouraged to try giving the press a crank to see how cider used to be produced. We will also have our grand opening of our corn maze and pumpkin patch! Get lost in our corn stalks, and if you have never been in a pumpkin field before a frost, you will be amazed by plants over your knees that hide their orange treasure.
