Registration is currently underway for a one-day seminar being presented by Bloomington's Department of Community and Family Resources. "Bridges Out of Poverty--Strategies for Professionals and Communities" takes place October 6 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The featured speaker is Jodi Pfarr, a national speaker who has managed low income housing programs and created programs to help individuals in poverty to stabilize their lives.
