Leon Russell is a legendary musician and songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma who has been performing his gospel-infused southern boogie, piano rock, blues, and country music for more than 50 years. Leon has performed with Joe Cocker, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, Edgar Winter, The New Grass Revival, Willie Nelson, and Sir Elton John. He has written songs performed by the Carpenters, George Benson, Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, and Christina Aguilera. His most recognizable song may be A Song For You, which was first released in 1970.

Leon Russell, who has also recorded as “Hank Wilson,” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in March of 2011, receiving the Award for Recording Excellence, and was inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in June 2011.

Over the course of five decades, Russell has proven himself to be a proudly eclectic product of America’s vast musical landscape. “I like all kinds of music, and I hate to do the same thing all the time,” he remarked of his far-ranging muse.

Opening the show will be Alex Dezen of The Damnwells. Doors open at 7:30.
