Green Fire Film Screening & Panel Discussion

See the new documentary film about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold and his environmental legacy. Green Fire shares highlights from his extraordinary career, explaining how he shaped conservation and the modern environmental movement. The film also illustrates how Leopold's vision of a community that cares about both people and land continues to inform and inspire diverse projects today. Tracy Sides from Soul Revolution will moderate a panel discussion about how Aldo Leopold's land ethic applies to modern-day agriculture, food systems, and society. Panelists include Fred Kirschenmann, organic farmer and longtime national leader in sustainable agriculture, June Mathiowetz from Homegrown Minneapolis, and Tracy Singleton, owner of the Birchwood Cafe. Share your thoughts or ask questions during the Q&A portion. Learn about ways to get involved with organizations serving the health of the land, food, and people before and after the program.
