Family Climbing Class on the REI Pinnacle

Participants will learn about equipment, knot tying, belay technique, climbing commands and safety issues. Advanced registration and payment is required. Please do not be late - all instruction is in the beginning of the class. Minimum class size is three participants. Minimum height for climbing is 42 inches. A parent must be a participant in the class for children under 14 to attend. Children under 14 cannot belay. Although this class is geared towards families, it is not oriented toward young children. A certain level of attention span and maturity may be needed to appreciate the class.
