Hours: Mon-Sat. 8 to 6; Sun. 1 to 5. Closed New Year's, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Walk along a Greenway and the Swannanoa River, past unique shops and antique stores in historic Black Mountain, through quiet, picturesque neighborhoods, pass the Red Rocker Inn, (a historic and highly rated B & B) and around Lake Tomahawk with gazebo and mountain views. The walk also includes the Oaks, a former religious retreat with its delightful manor, now part of Montreat College.
