Empty Bowls Soup Supper Benefit

The First United Methodist Church of Birmingham invites you to join them for a meal of soup and bread from many of the area’s finest restaurants at their annual “Empty Bowls Soup Supper” on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM. All proceeds from the event will go directly to local food banks, soup kitchens and to support the Art & Soul ministry in Detroit. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 per family.

This year, soups and breads will be prepared and donated by the following area restaurants:

100% of the proceeds will be used to fight hunger. In previous years, through donations and various fundraisers, the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham has donated approximately $40,000 toward charities that provide food to help fight hunger.
