Event details: Music Camp for Pre-Teens (Ages 7-12)
Description
Our 2nd Annual Pell City Center Music Camp is fast approaching. The ten day camp, held in July, will be taught by Steve Pennington. The camp will provide an instruction to Commercial and Broadway style singing and proper vocal techniques for the pre-teen performer. Camp will also include vocal warm ups, voice placement, learning your range, introduction to harmony singing and proper audition techniques.
The final class production, Musical Fairy Tales, will be held Friday night, July 31st at 7:00 p.m. Song selections will include, "Whistle While You Work", "Happy Working Song", "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf", "It's a Small, Small World" and "In My Own Little Corner", to name a few.
Students will be asked to audition for solos to perform in the showcase and will need to be prepared with their favorite age appropriate song to share in Act one of the Showcase.
