The ASC’s season kickoff continues with a patio party at 6:30 p.m. featuring live music in the Haskell Courtyard. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and chief influence to Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, Guy has received five Grammy Awards, 23 W.C. Handy Blues Awards (the most of any artist), Billboard Magazine’s Century Award for artistic achievement and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Guy recently appeared on the big screen with a show-stopping performance in Martin Scorsese’s Rolling Stones concert film, “Shine a Light” and on the cover of Rolling Stone for the magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitar Songs” issue. Clapton declared Guy, “The best guitar player alive.” Part of the Legends & Icons Series. VIP tickets are $80. Performance tickets are $65, $55, $45; $20 for students.
