The Broome County Office for Aging and CDPHP are sponsoring Mission Meltaway, a team approach to weight loss, to help participants “Lose “12” in 2012.” All 11 senior centers in Broome County will host six sessions throughout the year beginning in January 2012. Each session includes one hour of nutrition and physical activity education plus goal setting and action planning. Participants are asked to arrive early or stay after to be weighed-in.
