Description
Annual Clark Days Celebration will be held at Pompeys Pillar National Monument. Free entry to the Pompeys Pillar National Monument which is located 28 miles east of Billings, Montana along I-94 at Exit 23.
Clark Day honors Captain William Clark's stop at Pompeys Pillar during the return trip along the Yellowstone River. He climbed the sandstone rock and signed his name on July 25, 1806. Clark named the rock for Pomp and the Pillar remains the last physical evidence along the Lewis & Clark Trail.
Free Admission from 5:00pm Saturday to 5:00pm Sunday
Free tent or RV dry camping Saturday night
Park rangers on duty all night
Programs for the family
Sunday -- Pancake breakfast
Buffalo Burger Lunch
10:00am - 3:00pm Programs for the entire family
