Description The event is a weekend opportunity for area dancers to train and perform their bellydance skills. Dancers from all across our area gather at festival, which is the largest in the region. They will showcase the many various styles and costumes of belly dance. The Saturday night family-friendly showcase is a one-night-only opportunity to enter the world of belly dance! The gala showcase will feature two amazing professional bellydancers April Rose and Michelle Joyce. April Rose belongs to the "Bellydance Superstars," which is a world-class traveling belly dance show. Michelle Joyce hails from California and is a leader in the American Cabaret style of belly dance. Joining them on stage will be the many women of the regional bellydance community. Together they will illuminate the cultural and artistic beauty of this ancient dance.
