Description
Wander through the picturesque "Village" district of Big Bear Lake, a four-seasons mountain community situated above 6700 ft elevation. The 10K and 5K routes include the main "tourist" business and resort district, as well as surrounding residential neighborhoods, two lakeside piers, and a lakeside Veterans Memorial park. The 10K route also visits a lakeside recreation park, and a ski resort area. There is a wide variation in weather during the year-- check the local weather before traveling to Big Bear, and dress appropriately.
