This performance of traditional Indian music is perfect for youth, families, and adults. Ray Spiegel and Aashish Khan are both individually distiniguished artists in traditional Indian music. Spiegel trained with Tabla Master Ustad Alla Rahka and has received grant awards from the NEH and Smithsonian Institution to further his studies. He has performed and taught as many universities in the United States. Khan is considered among the handful of India's greatest living sarode players, and has played the instrument since age five. Today he is a respected uru and teacher, and in addition to a career as a concert artist and composer, he also teaches students across the world.

Make a day of it! Come early and learn the traditional Indian artform of rangoli. Make a beautiful design that you can take with you and display at your home. A great activity for families, scout troops, or community groups!

This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration, especially for groups, is strongly encouraged. For special assistance in registering your group, please contact Jodi Kane by e-mail or at 845.295.2521.
