The Stronach Baccalaureate Prize supports intellectual and creative pursuits that heighten awareness of issues of social consciousness and the public good. The award gives bright, ambitious students the opportunity to extend and reflect upon their undergraduate work at Berkeley by undertaking a special project after their graduation.

Several prizes may be awarded, each in an amount up to $25,000, designed to cover project costs and living expenses for a period of up to one year. Proposals for humanistic projects involving the arts, humanities, social, or natural sciences are welcome. The 2012 Prize is open to Berkeley graduates in all areas of study who receive their degree in Fall 20101, Spring 2012, or Summer 2012.
