One of the most experienced ocean rowers in the world, Brit Mick Dawson has logged nearly 20,000 miles at sea. In 2009, after two successful Atlantic Ocean crossings, he skippered the first two-man team to row nonstop across the North Pacific Ocean, completing the 7,000-mile journey from Choshi, Japan to San Francisco in 189 days, 10 hours, and 55 minutes.
