Awareness Through Movement is a holistic, yet intellectually rigorous approach to improving your health. In a typical class, you engage in a set of simple movements organized around some functional theme - ranging from breathing to standing on your head. Common concerns revolve around comfortable computer use as well as bringing ease into larger, more powerful movements like running or throwing a frisbee.
The physical demands of the class are usually quite easy, and we can always modify a lesson to accommodate individual issues. If you can, bring a mat or blanket to lie on (smooth is actually better than sticky), and please wear comfortable clothes.
