Ann Armstrong & Steve Hughes
Ann Armstrong's talents, both as a songwriter and blues performer, are deep and diverse. She is right up there with the great musical exports of Texas. She plays guitar - sometimes sweetly as an early bluebonnet, sometimes prickly as an Octillo cactus. She sings like a steam-powered nightingale and writes songs from a depth of experience. Ann's constant companion and musical partner, Steve Hughes, spices up the proceedings with fine harmonica and flute work.

Ann and Steve have one thing that sets them apart from much of the new talent emerging from the Lone Star State: they have been entertaining audiences with Ann's blend of Texas blues, folk and rock, for over 20 years. That adds up to listening experience that can't be matched!

Loretta Callens
Loretta Callens’ music embodies a timeless, American folk genre that appeals to anyone who loves music. She began her musical journey at 6 years old, and discovered the guitar ten years later, never to let it go. Loretta credits her parents with fostering the love of song so evident in her performances. Her first CD, "Strayz," brought praise from reviewer Tom Geddie of Buddy Magazine: "Callens can sing"! In May, 2011 Loretta released her CD, "Life Is Good," in concert with a wine of the same name produced by Texas Road Winery. Aside from songwriting and performing, Loretta has produced sixteen bluegrass festivals, a folk festival, two fund raisers and the Texas Independent Music Expo 2009 and 2010.
