INTERVISION - Father Luke's
(Dinner and overnight package-holders only)
For the past year, Intervision has single-handedly created a groove epidemic in their hometown of Portland. Combining elements of soul, rock, jazz and pop, the quintet is earning lofty comparisons to bands like Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, and Jamiroquai, yet have created their own intensely unique sound.
The Oregonian's pop music critic, Luciana Lopez says, "Sweet, mellow, jazzy and soulful'the disc is laid-back and danceable, and man, does it ever get in your head (and I mean that in a good way). Don't believe me? Take a listen."
From their roots as young music students at Clackamas College to one of PDX's most popular groups, the band has enjoyed distinguished performances at the Bite of Oregon A&E Mainstage, Musicfest NW, Aladdin Theatre, have been a fixture on local television like KATU's AM Northwest and PDXposed, and they have been featured on KPTV Fox 12's morning show, 'Better.' With dates starting to emerge regionally, they have only begun to fulfill their promise of bringing fresh sounds to eager ears and booties around the world.

MOON MOUNTAIN RAMBLERS - Theater - Free
Ramblin' in from all parts of the territory, Moon Mountain has drawn five musicians together to create an original high desert sound and a soulful interpretation of traditional bluegrass, jazz/swing, country and classic rock tunes.
One of Central Oregon's most innovative and entertaining acts, this group has played some of the biggest parties in and around its hometown of Bend and shared the stage with the David Grisman Quintet, Jay Reishman and the Jaybirds, Hot Buttered Rum, Sneakin' Out, Taarka, Jackstraw, New Monsoon, and The Gourds. The band started with a traditional bluegrass sound but has expanded into rock, jazz, funk, irie, hip hop (not a whole lot of that yet though). With the recent addition of Taarka's percussionist Dale Largent, Moon Mountain has taken a huge leap into the wide open world of experimental.
